Our General Fund is the unsung hero of FONSA.  Sometimes we have a call for student support, sometimes for a special project. 

This fund gives us the flexibility to respond to requests from Nablus for support which we agree are worthwhile and necessary.

All such requests must fall within our charitable objectives.

We only spend money in Palestine, so we do not support students studying in (say) the UK.

We seek to support projects which are too small for some of the larger charities but which make a difference to people in and around Nablus.  One such project was to provide Schoolbags for children from needy families; we bought essential stationery and a schoolbag for children from the Old City of Nablus who were about to start primary school.
